Rebel Yum Nutrition offers personalized nutrition and lifestyle coaching with the understanding that no two individuals are the same. When your body is supported by real food appropriate for your body, you feel healthy, vibrant, and confident. Your cravings disappear and you stop worrying about what or how to eat because you are nourished and free. This is the goal of Rebel Yum Nutrition: empowerment and wellness through knowledge and experience.

Nutritional Therapy is a form of nutrition and lifestyle coaching founded on evidence showing that many of today's degenerative and chronic diseases are due in part to poor diet and lifestyle habits. The goal of a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) is to bring a client's body back into balance by addressing her unique deficiencies and replacing unhealthy routines with ones that promote optimal wellness and function. An NTP cannot treat or diagnose disease; however, she can help change your life and drastically improve your health.

Spiced Skewers

Shelby is a Pacific Northwest native who loves fresh food, the outdoors, and homemade cookies. In her free time, she enjoys being active, reading, and watching stand-up comedy. Her happy place is in the red rocks and canyons of Utah and Arizona.

Shelby spent over 15 years battling disordered eating habits (food restriction, binge-eating, over-exercising, counting calories/macronutrients, etc), sugar addiction, and embarrassing digestive issues. After finding the Nutritional Therapy Association, she was able to take control of her health and not only feel really good but completely relax her mindset around food and health. She firmly believes that food should be simple and nourishing -- physically, emotionally, and spiritually! Now it's her mission to help free others from the confines of poor digestion, sugar addiction, and disordered eating habits.

If you’re struggling with poor digestive function, poor blood sugar regulation, sugar addiction, and/or disordered eating habits -- Shelby can help, she’s been there too.

Shelby is a certified FNTP through the Nutritional Therapy Association as well as a certified RESTART Instructor. She has completed continuing education credits through the Body Awareness Project specializing in adrenal health and recovery as well as through the Herbal Wisdom Institute and Raven's Roots Naturalist School specializing in herbal medicine basics and herbal medicine making. Shelby also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master's Diploma in Acupuncture at Middle Way Acupuncture Institute.
