Sober October 2019
Updated: Oct 8, 2019

Let's just cut to the chase.
Sure, October offers a million reasons to eat, drink, and be scary... but name a month that doesn't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If you're a fan of the Joe Rogan Podcast then you've probably heard of Sober October, a challenge that began as an effort between comedians Joe Rogan, Ari Shaffir, Tom Segura, and Bert Kreischer to help curb Bert's drinking habits. The rules are simple: stay sober (abstain from drugs and alcohol) for 31 days and take part in a fitness challenge. Last year the group competed to burn the most calories and the year before to take the most hot yoga classes.
Why would anyone want to take part in Sober October?
Well... other than the fact that it's just all around good for your body and mind, it's a damn hard challenge for even the casual drinker, and it's fun to compete with.. err.. support people you know! 😉
This year I'm doing RESTART (a 21-day challenge) during Sober October, and I'd like to invite you to do it with me!
The rules? Stay sober (obviously 😉) and abstain from sugar and processed foods. You can choose your own fitness challenge if you'd like or join me in committing to two yoga classes and one run each week. If you decide to join, tag me on social media @rebelyumnutrition and show me your workouts and healthy meals!
If you'd like more accountability and are interested in learning more about nutrition, dietary myths, and how to eat well, I'm leading a RESTART group beginning Tuesday, October 1 in downtown Bellingham, AND I'm offering it for $31 off! You can register on my website at rebelyumnutrition.com/restart or shoot me a message on social media. Let's do this!
